The Resolution journey started 15 years ago on a farm in the Te Anau Basin in Southland NZ, born from a real need for simple, practical record-keeping. After struggling with software that was too complicated and restrictive, it became essential to make data easier to record and keep in one place for everyone on the team.
The original product was used for several years within a small, closed group, and in 2019 a close group of friends—four farmers and two techies—came together to create the Resolution App and launched it to the wider public at the end of 2019.
With the support of 100 pioneering farmers across Otago, Southland, and Canterbury, these “100 Originals” became the foundation of the Resolution community.
Today, this passionate team continues to deliver practical, high-value AgriTech solutions, working hand-in-hand with farmers and growing alongside them to support both the broader agricultural sector and individual farm businesses.
